Due to a reorganization on AFA tournaments structure, many clubs from Second Level were relegated to Third Level for the 1950 season. San Telmo, 1949 Third Level champions, were not promoted and the other Third Level clubs were all relegated to the Fourth Level, a division that was started in 1950.
